Sun Prairie Photo is led by Chris Moehr. Chris has been shooting casually for 15 years and professionally since 2012. His primary interests are in wedding and senior photography, along with family and newborns. You’ll occasionally see some fashion and creative thrown in there as well. In addition to Chris, several other team members round out our skills and experience levels, giving you options for your project or event.
You’ll often see Chris accompanied by his lovely wife Rachel Moehr and occasionally bossed around by their kids. Rachel brings an eye for detail and is creative in the field, whether as a lead shooter or a second photographer. She specializes in newborn photography when not out shooting weddings.
Erik Moehr is our video expert. He focuses on weddings, short film, and music. Erik was awarded the honor of Videographer of the Year at the Madison Hip Hop Awards for 2017. He uses top of the line 4k Sony cameras and Ronin stabilizers.
Ethan Moehr is our editor in chief. He builds the story from an array of possibilities, and finds the flow and romance of our wedding packages, utilizing the latest tools and techniques. Chris gets the final review and stamp of approval in any package, but Ethan is the one who gets to tell the story.
In addition to these team members, we have a full network of associates. We’re shooting almost every weekend with Scott, Scott, John, or Jon. Each artist is skilled in our style and flow, mixing seamlessly into the team.
